Chris Warren Weather Biography

Chris Warren is an Emmy award-winning meteorologist serving as a host and reporter for The Weather Channel. He co-anchors a 4-hour weekday weather on Weather Center Live and frequently reports from the field.

Chris was born in Spokane and raised in Kirkland. In 2013, he was inducted into Kirkland Plaza of Champions. He began his career in media in 2003 at Northwest Cable News where he worked during the week and at King 5 on the weekends. He worked as a eporter, photographer, news anchor and video editor. In 2008, he won an Emmy for best weather forecast of the year.

He has worked for the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, MSNBC and CNBC. He represented the United States in the World’s Fair in Shanghai, China in 2010.

Chris Warren Weather Channel

Chris is a meteorologist for The Weather Channel since 2009. He co-anchors a 4-hour weekday weather and news program and also does field anchoring and reporting. He previously worked at KING-TV where he served as the weekend evening meteorologist and NWCN contributor. In 2008 he won an Emmy for the best weather forecast of the year. He has worked on the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, MSNBC and CNBC.

He began his career at KTVZ-TV as a weather and news anchor and reporter. He forecast weather for mountains and desert regions. He later joined KSBY-TV where he served as a weekend evening weather and news anchor as well as a morning general assignment reporter and feature reporter. In 2001 he re-joined KTVZ-TV as a chief weather anchor where he anchored the daily weather reports for the 5, 6, and 11 pm newscasts.
