Ryan Briscoe is a Sydney-based Australian-American professional racing driver who has primarily competed in open-wheel and sports cars in Europe and the United States. He won eight races and placed on 28 podiums in IndyCar, finishing third in 2009, fifth in 2008 and 2010, and sixth in 2011 and 2012.
He has won the 2020 24 Hours of Daytona and the 2020 Petit Le Mans, was runner-up in the 2007 American Le Mans Series LMP2 class, the 2013 12 Hours of Sebring LMP2 class, the 2008 and 2013 Petit Le Mans LMP2 class, the 2015 24 Hours of Daytona GTLM class, and finished third overall in the 2008 24 Hours of Daytona.

Briscoe spent two years on the SPEED Channel as a co-host of a motorsports news program before joining ESPN. She previously worked as a sports reporter for WISH-TV, an Indianapolis CBS affiliate, where she got her first taste of auto racing by covering the Indianapolis 500. In her first on-air sports job, she also covered the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and college basketball.
Additionally, she has appeared as a host and reporter on X Games coverage, as well as filled in as a host on various ESPN Radio shows. In 2018, she was also the host of ABC’s telecast of the Indianapolis 500. From 2011 to 2014, she hosted the pre-race NASCAR Countdown program. Prior to her 2009 marriage to racing driver Ryan Briscoe, who drove in the IndyCar Series at the time and now competes in sports car racing, she joined ESPN as Nicole Manske in 2008.
Before joining SPEED in July 2006, she worked as a pit reporter for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network, covering the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400, as well as IndyCar Series race broadcasts. Briscoe began her television career in 1999 as a general assignment reporter at WREX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rockford, Illinois, near her hometown of Roscoe, Illinois, while still in college.
Along with that, she also served as a producer and anchor for weekend news and weather. She started as a news reporter and fill-in anchor for WANE-TV, the CBS station in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, in September 2001, before transferring to Indianapolis in April 2004. Briscoe is an avid runner who has raced in a variety of races across the country.
