Kelly is a former weekday morning meteorologist at KCCI-TV. She joined the network in October 2019 and left in September 2021 after the death of her mother. Prior to joining KCCI she worked for KESQ, CBS Local 2 as a meteorologist, anchor and multimedia journalist.
She began her career in media as a Make-A-Wish Minute reporter in June 2013. She also worked as an Arts and Culture reporter for Greer’s OC. In May 2015 she joined HCTV22 as a reporter, producer and anchor. She was also a general assignment reporter for GGTV3.
In August 2015 she joined NBC News as a freelance assistant and associate producer for Dateline. She has also worked as an anchor, multimedia journalist and weather producer for Chapman News Orange County Channel 6, Chapman University.
