Mary is a senior congressional correspondent for ABC News. She joined the network in October 2006 as a desk assistant. She later joined ‘This Week’ as a researcher and segment producer. In May 2010 she became a general assignment producer before becoming a White House producer. In May 2015 she became a multi-platform reporter, a position she she served for 5 months before becoming a congressional correspondent.

During the 2016 presidential election, she went throughout the country to contribute to ABC News’ coverage of the presidential campaigns. She formerly worked as a multi-platform reporter, reporting on topics ranging from California wildfires to Pope Francis’ historic visit to Washington.

Initially, she was assigned to the post of news channel desk assistant.  Despite this, she performed her duties with passion and determination. She worked for the ABC news network in 2006.

In 2008, she was promoted to the news production segment. She began to make a significant impression soon after, becoming heavily involved in the coverage of the 2008 presidential debate and its candidates for the show – This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

Consequently, she joined ABC News as a digital journalist in 2009 and was assigned to the White House in 2010. Mary has been on the rise since then, covering a wide range of events and reports, including former US President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, the flow of illegal migrants into Europe.
