He was also chairman of the Bucks County Industrial Development Authority and taught evening classes at Bucks County Community College until being appointed a trustee. From 1987 to 1992, Pisani taught real estate development with his son at the Wharton School and also sold life insurance for Penn Mutual, had a job with United Airlines, and became vice president of construction for Sylvan Pools in Doylestown. With his son Robert, Pisani published a book “Investing in Land: How to be a Successful Developer” in 1988.Together with his second wife, Barbara, he ran a successful Bucks County real estate business for many years, building townhouses and apartments in Bucks and Lehigh counties. He was first married to Elizabeth in 1950 but they divorced and he married Barbara Helen Teal a property manager in 1966. He passed on in 2020 of complications from a fall at his home in Palm Beach Gardens at the age of 90.
