The same year it was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

She was best known for her role as housekeeper Berta on CBS’ Two and a Half Men; it was a recurring role at first, but Ferrell was promoted to series regular in Season 2 and remained with the series for its entire 12-season run. Her final TV role was in five episodes of Netflix’s The Ranch in 2017.

Conchata Ferrell Illness
In May 2020 Ferrell was hospitalized with a kidney related infection he suffered in December. She spent a month in intensive care, during which she suffered a heart attack. She was on a respirator and dialysis, and was unable to speak or communicate.
According to TMZ, Arnie said; “It’s going to be a while before there’s any recovery. It’s all neurological. There’s nothing we can do to speed it up the process. We are hoping for the best.”

Conchata died on October 12, 2020 at the age of 77 as a result of complications following a cardiac arrest. She died peacefully surrounded by family at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, California according to Deadline.
