Along with that, Branch spent four seasons in the NBA, winning the 1987 NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers. Branch spent time in Europe after his NBA career, playing for teams in Australia, Spain, France, Israel, and Turkey. He was dubbed an ACC Legend in 2004 during his tenure at Maryland, where he was the third all-time leading scorer and led the team to the ACC championship in 1984.
