Geoff Bennett Biography

Geoff Bennett (full names; Geoffrey Robinson Bennett) is PBS NewsHour co-anchor alongside Amna Nawaz as well as an NBC political contributor. He is a former chief Washington correspondent and PBS News Weekend anchor.

He is an Edward R. Murrow Award recipient who began his career in journalism at ABC News’ World News Tonight. He joined NewsHour in 2022 from NBC News, where he was a White House correspondent and substitute anchor for MSNBC. He has worked for NPR- beginning as an editor for Weekend Edition and later as a reporter covering Congress and the White House.

He died in October 2014.

She is a summa cum laude graduate of Spelman College, Perry has an S.M. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Harvard University and an M.A. in Communication (health communication concentration) with honors from the Johns Hopkins University. He joined PBS NewsHour in 2022 from NBC News, where he was a White House correspondent and substitute anchor for MSNBC.
