Aishah Hasnie is a Fox News Channel Congressional Correspondent based in Washington D.C. She previously was a correspondent based in New York, where she reported from the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic, including on nursing homes, testing sites and mental health. In 2020, she was named a New York Woman of Impact by Variety for her coverage of the coronavirus, specifically for her report on how the pandemic impacted Muslim Americans during the Ramadan season. She has as well earned her recognition from Indiana Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Aishah is also a humanitarian serving as a board member of USA for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Through the organisation, she helps raise awareness about the plight of refugees and support their cause.

She is a former New York based correspondent where she reported from the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic, including on nursing homes, testing sites and mental health.  In addition, she covered the protests throughout New York City following the death of George Floyd. She also followed the devastation of Hurricane Sally on the ground from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Prior to her reporting role, she served as an overnight anchor for FOX & Friends First and FOX & Friends. s

Prior to joining FNC, she was an anchor and investigative reporter for WXIN-TV, the FOX affiliated television station in Indianapolis, where she anchored the 4 PM newscast First at Four. Previously she served as an investigative reporter and substitute anchor at CBS affiliate WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana for three years. Her investigative reporting on the voyeurism law inspired Indiana legislation to close a loophole in the system. While there, her reporting earned her a local Emmy nomination as well as recognition by the local Indiana Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Her career in journalism began at WICS-TV in Springfield, IL as an on-air intern reporter at the age of 18. She also interned at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis and GEO-TV, an international network based in Pakistan. While at GEO-TV, she experienced gender inequality and discovered that most reporters and producers were motivated by the new found freedom of press in Pakistan and had little or no formal journalism education, or a set of journalism standards as a benchmark.
