Necheles has represented a number of clients ranging from politicians, celebrities to athletes. He has been involved in a few of the most high-profile white-collar criminal cases. Some the cases include the Enron scandal, the trial of former CEO Dennis Kozlowski and the case of FIFA corruption.
In 2010, she represented New York state Senate Majority leader Pedro Espada in a corruption case. Espada was convicted and served five years in prison for his role in stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from his Soundview Health Center. Susan helped win an acquittal. She has also helped win acquittals in campaign finance cases in Puerto Rico and New York. In 2010, their client Manhattan Surrogate Court Judge Nora Anderson, was acquitted of illegally funneling $250,000 in her run for the bench.
She represented Clare Bronfman, Seagrams heiress who was s convicted in 2020 of using her family’s liquor fortune to finance the NXIVM sex cult in upstate New York. She was sentenced to six years and nine months in prison.
She also represented Jacob Reichberg, a top donor to former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio who was accused of bribing cops with access to hookers. Jacob was convicted in 2020 along with fellow donor and pal Jona Rechnitz.
She was a counsel to the late Genovese crime family underboss Venero Mangano, who was known as Bennie Eggs because his mother owned an egg store. In 2016, she helped negotiate a plea deal for Dr. David Newman,an ER Doctor, who sexually assaulted four female emergency-room patients. He lost his medical license after he drugged one of his patients before he attacked her. He was sentenced to two years in prison.

Necheles is one of three attorneys defending former president Donald Trump on an indictment stemming from hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels and other 34 felony counts of falsifying business records
She has previously worked with Donald Trump defending the Trump Organization in a tax fraud case that was also brought by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office but under Bragg’s predecessor, Cyrus Vance Jr. The organization was convicted of all 17 counts and fined $1.6 million.
She was also part of the legal team which represented Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, who was charged with campaign finance violations which were related to hush money payments. Necheles’ strategy for the case was focused on discrediting Cohen’s credibility being a witness. Cohen was eventually found guilty and received a three-year sentence in prison but also implicating Donald in the scheme.
