In the mid-1990s, he hosted the ABC’s education program Behind the News, worked as a journalist on the 7.30 Report, and produced Nine’s Midday show. Higgins and Jane Bunn of Seven were the first weather presenters to collaborate with Climate Communicators. This is an initiative run by Monash University’s Climate Change Communication Research Hub.
