Page is the daughter of Patricia Ann Turner and Eugene Turner. They met in Japan when Eugene was in the military and spent almost 12 years there. After retiring from the military, they moved to Los Angeles settling in Crenshaw. Since Eugene was a professional optician, he started PAGE Optical also known as the “Optician to the Stars”, the first black-owned optical shop in the Crenshaw district. He however died in 1980 when Page was eight years old from liver ailment. Her mother is a breast cancer survivor who underwent mastectomy.

Page has two half sisters from both parents previous relationships; Daryl Lyn Saha, is her sister from her mother’s side; and Sonji Newman from her dad’s side.The two lost contact after they father died but they reunited 33 years later after Sonji found Turner on Facebook. Page is not married neither has she ever been married. She however was in a relationship with Marco Gordon with whom she shares her three daughters. Marc is a Grammy-nominated musician, producer and founding member of LeVert, an American R&B group. The group released their debut album ‘I Get Hot’ in 1985 and their second album ‘Bloodline’ in 1986. One of the band member died of a heart attack due to accidental overdose of prescription drugs in November 2006 while a second member died in March 2008 while serving time in the Cuyahoga Country Jail for failing to pay child support. Marc later formed a new band LeVert II with two new members.

According to his LinkedIn, he is the founder of SOEL (Saving Our Entertainers Lives) Foundation which he started in April 2012. He also hosts the webcast show Marc Gordon Show since July 2012. He has been serving as the president of 9311 Entertainment Group since 2007 where he also contributes as a singer/songwriter/producer/artist.

Page and Deron Jenkins were in a relationship for five years before the called things off. They first met when Page was showing a home and DeRon was the contractor, they had an instant attraction and she quickly became DeRon’s real estate agent — and then they started dating. After they broke up they remained friends and hosted co-hosted ‘Flip or Flop Nashville’ on HGTV.

During an interview Turner said, “We dated for a long time, but we still remained friends. So that’s I think the big difference. We didn’t have this huge blow up where we just stopped speaking and all that drama. We still work together well and make money. [We said], ‘Let’s do that.’”

She however clarified that they spent some time apart right after their breakup. “There was a little separation. We needed a break for a couple years. Then we were like ‘All right – we good.’”

The two are against Bryan and Sarah Baeumler (Renovation Island); luxury design experts Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle (Luxe for Less); farmhouse fanatic Jonathan Knight and high-end residential designer Kristina Crestin (Farmhouse Fixer).

The six-episode season is hosted by Ty Pennington as the experts face-off in home renovation battle in the town of Berthoud, Colorado.
