The shoe went viral after they appeared on camera, as he walked down the steps behind Amy Klobuchar’s talking head. During an email interview with Complex he said he love sneakers and have been collecting them for a while. He revealed that while growing up they didn’t have “money for anything that wasn’t absolutely essential” so at the time he just admired tham from afar.
