Lorena covered a wide range of stories at WVLT, including the devastating tornadoes of 2011, the 2012 Presidential Campaign, and illegal immigrants facing deportation. Lorena also became engaged with the Centro Hispano de East Tennessee, a local non-profit serving the Hispanic community.

She also enjoys emceeing events for local charities and organizations she’s involved with including Joshua’s Heart Foundation and Florida Hemophilia Association.
