A year later , together with her husband, they saw a specialist who told them to continue trying as all tests showed things were normal. A year later she was advised to do ovulation tracking for three months and still didn’t get pregnant and that’s when they decided to do IVF. They harvested 30 eggs and got only two embryos.

She was implanted the first time but she suffered a miscarriage after 8 weeks. She had gone for the 7 weeks check up and they was a tiny heartbeat but the embryo was measuring a few days small and they decided to do follow up check up after one week and there was no heartbeat. At the time she had no experienced nothing physical as they knew about the miscarriage via the scan. She was given the option to do DnC or just wait for things to happen naturally. She opted for the later. At the time she had planned to go for a road trip to south of Australia and the miscarriage happened on the road, she felt a lot of pain and vomiting and since they had no phone reception they decided to continue with the trip. Since she felt attached, they decided to name it and called it blueberry as it was that size when she suffered the miscarriage. As a way of remembrance she bought a glass necklace at Etsy with a shape of blueberry.

After the first process, she suffered ovarian heart syndrome and had to wait for a couple of months before going in for the second implantation. It was successful which led to the birth of her son.
