For their first meeting, they decided to go for a drink at a rooftop bar in Shaw.
“I felt very drawn to Adam within minutes of our meeting,” Jessica said. “I really enjoyed our conversation centered on music, sports, and family.” The two ended up getting engaged at Jessica’s favorite place, her family’s cottage in the Finger Lakes with a redesigned version of Adam’s grandmother’s diamond ring.

As a result of the media coverage, and a relentless push from parents, Governor Christie backed down from the plan in July 2015.
She also worked as a video journalist at Capital News 9 in Albany, New York, where she worked as the Amsterdam, NY Bureau Chief and Political Reporter and also served as a Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter at WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut.
