Jasmin Pettaway ABC
Jasmin joined ABC News in July 2014 as a segment producer of Good Morning America. Her roles included streamlining competitive bookings of celebrity talent and nationwide news-makers. She co-produced in studio for live music acts, and high profile guests. She also coordinated travel for high profile celebrities and ABC talent as well as securing locations and permits for shoots.
In January 2015 she was promoted to script coordinator. Her roles included refining and streamlining script for 2 live hours of Good Morning America, overseeing live audience coordination in Times Square. She also managed studios green rooms, and conducted pre-interview briefings to celebrity guests and other news headliners.
Prior to joining ABC, she was an intern for E! Networks for 5 months. After leaving ABC News in August 2016, she joined WEWS TV (ABC 5) as an assignment editor before being promoted to special producer where she helped co-found and produce for News 5’s E-Team, a first of its kind initiative within Scripps that produced more compelling enterprise news than any other Scripps owned station. Jasmin Pettaway T.J. Holmes
It is alleged that while Jasmin worked at ABC News, she has an affair with T.J. Holmes. This comes in the wake of ABC News investigation into T.J Holmes affair with his co-anchor Amy Robach. The pair has been suspended from their program after their affair became public.
According to Page Six, a source claimed that in 2015, while Jasmin was 24 and was an intern at ABC and a subordinate to T.J. Holmes he had an affair with her. The source alleges that it was Jasmine’s first real television job and was looking for a mentor but T.J abused the position of trust.
“He was a predator who took full advantage of his position, and he was reckless. It was Jasmin’s first real job in television, and it was a big deal for her. She was looking for a mentor, and she reached out to several people. T.J. was someone who was responsive, but he absolutely abused the position of trust.”
The insider alleged that the pair joined ABC news team in September 2014 and often worked the same shifts. The insider noted that at the Holmes was a correspondent and “would grab drinks, and he and Jasmin started doing that.”
The informant added that the first time the two got sexual was in Holmes office a couple of hours before he was set to go on air. The affair allegedly faded out after a few months.
“He had it all on his terms. He was interested and then he wasn’t. No one talked about abuse of power back then, but stuff happened.”
The informant also claims that Holmes’ alleged behavior with Pettaway was not uncommon, but rather part of “incredibly reckless” conduct on his part. It is also alleged that he had an affair with married producer Natasha Singh.
During an interview with Voyage Ohio in 2021 she said that ABC’s, ‘toxic work environment really damaged my self-esteem.’ This might be a reference to her affair with T.J. Holmes.
