David began his career as Melbourne Bureau Chief for Sky News. His coverage includes; ‘Black Saturday’ Victorian Bushfire disaster, Federal Election 2007, Beaconsfield Mine Accident, Commonwealth Games 2006, Benbrika Terror Trial, Melbourne gangland war. He also interviewed prominent people such as Victorian Premier John Brumby, Deputy Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibriham among others.
In December 2010 he became the US Correspondent for Sky News Australia. He reported on the International Affairs and US politics from Washington DC. He conducted regular live crosses and filing packages with Australian perspective on events in, or related to, United States.
His coverage includes; the death of Osama Bin Laden, shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Government shutdown crises and the Arab Spring uprisings in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.
He also served as a Federal Politics reporter from Parliament House, Canberra. He was the host of Saturday Agenda and back-up host for AM Agenda and PM Agenda
