Carrie Bickmore (OAM) is a Melbourne-based Australian talk show and current affairs television and radio presenter with a Gold Logie award. Bickmore is the co-host of Network 10’s The Project alongside Waleed Aly and the Hit Network’s Carrie & Tommy alongside Tommy Little.

While Carrie was mourning the loss of her husband, Chris had lost a brother in a vehicle accident. Carrie does not want to remarry and hopes to spend the rest of her life with her current partner, therefore they are a live-in pair.

Carrie was previously married to Greg Lange from 2005 to 2010. Carrie first met her now deceased husband Greg Lange when she started working at a radio station in Perth. Greg was a media professional who was battling brain cancer for 10 years.

Greg’s body gave in after a decade long fight and two days after Christmas 2010, David passed away at a young age of 34. Carrie frequently talks about the constant state of struggle she suffered during her marriage which forced her to grow up quickly.

Bickmore is the co-host of Network 10’s The Project alongside Waleed Aly since 2009. It airs weeknights and has helped to raise her status as a television host. For her performance on Rove and The Project, Bickmore won the 2010 Logie Award for Best New Female Talent on May 2, 2010.

In 2001, Bickmore joined radio station Nova 100 in Melbourne as an afternoon newsreader. She began her career here. In 2002, she joined Andy Ross as co-host of the drive show. On behalf of Nova 100, Bickmore, Rebecca Leahy, and Michael Colling won the award for Best Community Service Project – Metro.

Bickmore joined Hughesy & Kate on Nova 100 as a breakfast newsreader in 2007. Bickmore returned to Nova 100 in November 2013 to read the news one last time and bid farewell to the long-running breakfast radio duo Hughesy and Kate.

In 2012 and 2013, Bickmore was nominated for the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular TV Personality. Bickmore was nominated for the prize again in 2014.  This caused the media to label her “the golden girl” of Network Ten, alongside Asher Keddie.
