Carl Quintanilla is an American media personality serving as a principal anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street”  and “Squawk Alley”  both of which broadcast live from the New York Stock Exchange. He previously spent six years as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal as well as a reporter and columnist for the Daily Camera in Boulder.

In 2005, he spent weeks in New Orleans as part of NBC’s team coverage of Hurricane Katrina.
