Amie Patrick Biography

Amie Patrick is the wife of the late author and pastor, Darrin Patrick.  He died in May 2020. Darrin was a teaching pastor at Seacoast Church and a founding pastor of The Journey Church in St. Louis.

She is a co-author of ‘The Dude’s Guide to Marriage: Ten Skills Every Husband Must Develop to Love His Wife Well’ with her husband Darrin.

Amie Patrick Husband

Amie is the wife of Darrin Patrick, Darrin was a teaching pastor at Seacoast Church. He was the founding pastor of The Journey Church and was the author of multiple books including the Dude’s Guide to Marriage. Darrin was the former chaplain to the St. Louis Cardinals and former vice-president of the Acts 29 church planting network. The couple got married in 1993.

Darrin Patrick Death

Darrin’s death was announced on May 8, 2020 in a statement by the Seacoast Church which read; “We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Pastor Darrin Patrick. Darrin was a loved member of the Seacoast family, the teaching team, and pastoral staff and we are mourning his loss. Darrin had a gift for teaching the Word and a heart for encouraging other pastors. God allowed Seacoast to be a part of Darrin’s story in a time when he needed a family. He was a gift to us and we are thankful for the time the Lord gave him to us. His influence and impact cannot be measured. We are surrounding the Patrick family with our prayers and support during this time.”

Darrin Patrick Suicide – Cause of Death

Darrin’s cause of death has not been officially released but according to an update Seacoast Church website Darrin was target shooting with a friend at the time of his death. He allegedly died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
