Steve Sadow Biography
Steven H. Sadow is a special counsel for white collar and high profile defense. He was admitted to the Bar in Georgia in 1979 and has been recognized in Best Lawyers of America in the areas of criminal defense: white-collar & criminal defense: general practice for 30 years in a row. In 2022, he was the only criminal defence attorney named in Georgia Trend magazine’s list of Georgia’s 500 Most Influential Leaders.
In August 2023, he joined Donald Trump’s legal team in Atlanta legal team replacing Drew Findling. Trump is facing 13 felony charges in Fulton County, among them violating the state’s anti-racketeering law in an effort to subvert the state’s 2020 election results. Steve has previously handled racketeering charges as he was the lead counsel in Gold Club trial representing club owner Steve Kaplan, et al., against federal racketeering charges

Steve is 69 years old; he was born in 1955 in Trotwood, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton.
Steve Sadow Education
Steve attended Trotwood-Madison High School where he played football as a middle linebacker earning all region honors. While there, he also worked at a local pool hall for a dollar an hour, learning how to hustle shooting nine ball, which he says helped him learn how to deal with the stress and intensity of competition.
He then joined Marietta College, where he build a reputation for defending fellow students before administrators or disciplinary councils.
He earned his Juris Doctorate at Emory University School of Law. While there, he started developing a routine of cramming which has served him well which he says helps him to prepare for his cases.

Sadow is the oldest son of Ray and Shirley Sadow. His father Ray was an engineer who worked for the U.S. Air Force while his mother was a homemaker. He said in an interview that his mother had a strong personality and could drink whiskey with men. He attributes his intellectual capacity to his father and his personality to his mother.

He was brought up alongside his younger brother Eric Sadow, who is also a lawyer. According to his LinkedIn, he is a compliance, risk and regulatory professional and attorney with broad-based expertise leading strategic, risk and legal management functions to achieve corporate goals. He serves as the EVP, General Counsel, Chief compliance officer and Chief risk officer at ServiceMac, LLC. He is a former chief compliance officer for PHH Mortgage.

Steven’s wife Susan J. Sadow is also a lawyer who received her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia in 1981. She is a Georgia Workers’ Compensation Attorney and co- founder of Sadow & Froy. She is AV-rated* under Martindale Hubbell’s peer review rating system and was named a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in 2020. She has also been named a Georgia Super Lawyer in ATLANTA magazine from 2006 – 2023. She was also awarded a listing in Best Lawyers in America from 2003-2023.
The couple has been married since August 1980. They began dating in August 1978.

Jon Sadow is the Chief Product and Technology Officer of Scoop. He previously worked on Google’s Consumer Surveys team as a product leader, he oversaw the global expansion of the Consumer Surveys and Opinion Awards products to more than 40 countries. He graduated from George Washington University with a degree in International Business and Finance.

Unlike most of defense attorneys, he has never been a prosecutor and has said he knows nothing about civil law, he has spent his entire career doing criminal defense work.
Some of his most notable cases include Ray Lewis trial, where he represented Lewis’ friend Joseph Sweeting and obtained an acquittal for him, he was charged with aggravated assault, murder and felony murder that occurred during a post-2000 Super Bowl brawl in Atlanta.
He also obtained an acquittal of Howard K. Stern, the attorney and boyfriend of the late playmate and model Anna Nicole Smith, who was charged with conspiracy and prescription drug fraud in Los Angeles.
He successfully represented William Roberts a.k.a Rick Ross in his defense against false claims of kidnapping and aggravated violence. He also obtained a not guilty verdicts in a 2019 federal fraud case in Pennsylvania and in a 2023 federal healthcare fraud case involving 1.4. billion dollars in Florida.
He was also the lead counsel in Gold Club trial representing club owner Steve Kaplan, et al., against federal racketeering charges; and the Anthony San Juan Powell trial, which led to Georgia’s sodomy laws being declared unconstitutional in 1998.
Steve Sadow Gunna
Sadow defended rapper Gunna real Sergio Kitchen in Fulton County DA Fani Willis’ RICO prosecution of Young Thug’s Young Slime Life collective. He negotiated an Alford plea deal where the state allowed him to suspend additional jail time and maintain his innocence in exchange for pleading guilty to one count of violating RICO.
